We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to support our business development efforts by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients.. This is a minimum 6 months’ contract role.

This role is focused on building a strong pipeline of high-quality leads and working closely with our Client Solutions Strategist to convert opportunities into clients.

You will gain hands-on experience in B2B outreach, lead generation, and sales processes, especially within the marketing and advertising industry

🧠 Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation

  • Research and identify potential clients that fit our target profile (SMEs, growing businesses, decision-makers).

  • Build and maintain lead lists using tools like LinkedIn, Apollo, Google, and directories.

  • Source leads across multiple channels (LinkedIn, email, websites, social media).

  • Continuously update and expand the lead database.

Outreach & Prospecting

  • Execute outbound outreach via cold emails, LinkedIn messages, and calls.

  • Personalize outreach messages based on the prospect’s business and needs.

  • Follow up consistently with leads to increase response rates.

  • Track outreach performance and iterate messaging

Lead Qualification

  • Engage with responses and qualify leads based on criteria (budget, needs, readiness).

  • Identify key decision-makers and understand business pain points.

  • Filter out low-quality leads and prioritize high-potential prospects.

  • Maintain clear notes and updates in CRM or tracking sheets

Appointment Setting

  • Book discovery meetings between the prospect and internal sales team.

  • Ensure prospects are well-informed before meetings (context, expectations, needs).

  • Prepare basic lead briefs to support the closer.

  • Work closely with the closer to improve lead quality over time.

🧠 Requirements

 Technical

  • Strong interest in sales, marketing, and business development.

  • Comfortable with outreach and talking to new people.

  • Basic understanding of social media, marketing, or business is a plus.

Professional & Personal

  • Detail-oriented and organised.

  • Willingness to learn and take feedback constructively.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Good communication skills and a positive working attitude.

  • Good critical thinking skills to navigate conversations.

🧠 Nice-To-Haves

  • Experience using tools like Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or CRM systems.

  • Previous internship or exposure to sales, marketing, or customer service.

  • Understanding of digital marketing (Meta Ads, websites, funnels).

  • Ability to write simple but effective outreach messages.

We have an extensive interview pipeline which involves 2 main steps

  1. 30min Introductory call – a short introduction call to better understand you as a person, your background, your goals and career aspirations.
  2. 45min Technical interview – you’ll be meeting with members of the team for a brief interview. This is the chance for us to have an open discussion and see how well we can work together.
